The parts of Snipora that work differently from other text expanders, each with a demo you can try and where to find it in the app.
The smaller things that come with it
- Search and paste
- Forgot an abbreviation? Search every snippet by name or text from any app and press Return.
- Snippet from selection
- Select text anywhere, press the shortcut, give it an abbreviation. Saved.
- Ready on day one
- Allow Contacts and your name, email, phone and address become snippets in seconds.
- Match popup
- While you type an abbreviation, a small list of matching snippets appears under the caret.
- Markdown and images
- Write Markdown, get bold, italic and links in the destination. Or paste an image.
- Typo fixes
- Built-in sets fix common typos and add accents (café, naïve). Switch each set on or off.

- iCloud Drive sync
- Turn it on and every Mac uses the same snippets. No server of ours in between.
- Shared folders
- Point it at a Dropbox or iCloud shared folder; your team’s packs update as they change.
- Stale-snippet cleanup
- “You haven’t used these 12 in 6 months.” Archive them in one click, bring any back later.
